Gary is one of the founders of Lo Down Brown, a highly popular band based in Aiken, SC. They are noted for keeping their audiences smiling and dancing thanks to an ever expanding repertoire of great classic rock, beach music, dance favorites, and country classics.
Lo Down Brown was the backbone of the musical "Always... Patsy Cline" in Aiken, starring Brooke Lundy Reily, one of the greatest shows ever to hit Aiken. (click on "Songs" page to hear tracks from this soundtrack CD). (note: this show has been scheduled to return to the same stage late August of 2008 - don't miss out this second time around!)
This was followed by another sold out run of the long running off-Broadway hit "Tony and Tina's Wedding" directed and co-starring one of the show's creators, Mark Nassar. They were the core of "Girls Night Out" February 17-20th, 2005, "The Little Shop of Horrors" in September, 2005, and "Heartsville 28 Miles" in February of 2006, part of the annual Heart Board Charity which last year raised $63,000 for the local heart association. "We're Into NASCAR" ran from March 1 through March 4th of 2007, with music also by Lo Down Brown. February 21-24 featured Lo Down Brown center stage for this year's Heart Board Musical, Heart Show: Take 30.
